This tour departs at 8:30am and departs Kuranda at either 2pm or 3:30pm which will have you back in Cairns at either 3:30m or 5pm. Kuranda Village is a quaint little township in the rainforest, situated where both Skyrail and the Kuranda Scenic Train journeys terminate.

Kuranda Village is a quaint little township in the rainforest, situated where both Skyrail and the Kuranda Scenic Train journeys terminate. Kuranda Village is famous for arts and crafts and indigenous artifacts and the excellent attractions of the Butterfly Sanctuary, Koala Gardens, Birdworld and the Aviary. Passengers travelling with Tropical Horizons Day Tours may obtain discount entry to these attractions (show your tour sticker, train/railway or Skyrail pass). The original Kuranda markets are held Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday. Heritage Markets open daily.
