Your day with Ocean Freedom begins with our free drop off leaving Dreamtime at 7.30am and delivering you directly to the boat. The welcoming crew have an assortment of Danish pastries, coffee and tea for you to choose from. After an inspiring welcome and safety brief you travel one hour away to the secluded Upolu Cay.

This small and stunning sand island is surrounded by reef and provides the perfect place for a glass bottom boat tour. This 25 minute ride with experienced marine naturalist introduces you to unique fish species and coral structures. These wonders are yours to enjoy for the next 5-6 hours. You are free to swim and snorkel around the reef and relax on the remote sand cay. The highlight of the day awaits as your crew manoeuvre your boat to the vibrant reef site named the ‘Wonderwall’.

At the wonderwall our guests regularly snorkel and dive with giant sea turtles, harmless reef sharks, stingrays and a host of other fish species including the famous ‘Nemo’ or clown fish. Here you can choose to take a guided snorkel tour, enjoy the fish feeding up close and listen to an informative reef talk. In between a whole selection of foods are included and you can choose to have as much sun, shade or reef time as you like.

For experienced divers a guide will show you the most interesting spots while drifting along the Wonderwall. Dives are generally shallow as the best marine and coral life is within 1 metre to 12 metres. For those a little nervous or snorkelling for the first time a helpful crew member will spend time with you and ease you into the water.

This trip returns at approx 5pm allowing a full day at the reef. On the way home the crew have some tasty treats to finish the day. Just bring a towel, something to swim in, hat and sunscreen and let the Ocean Freedom staff show you one of the best days of your travels. Our guests always return to Dreamtime with a big smile after this day – it is highly recommended.
