We are a PADI 5 Star Dive and Instructor Development Centre. This rating guarantees you the highest standards in diver training at all levels from beginner to instructor.

We offer students a professional and safe learning environment and combine it with

spectacular dive locations on the Great Barrier Reef. Our custom built training centre is

located in the Cairns city and there is no better place in the world to learn to dive! Water

temperatures range from 22°C to 30°C allowing comfortable diving all year round. The PADI

5 day learn to dive course is broken down to two components:

2 days of pool and classroom training

3 day 2 night liveaboard trip to the Outer Great Barrier Reef

You will spend your first two days at our training centre where you will learn the academics of scuba diving &

then in the pool where you put these basics into practice. At the end of Day 2 you are invited to attend “Reef

Teach” which is a marine biology presentation where you will learn about the Great Barrier Reef (additional

cost).

Day 3, 4, and 5 are spent onboard one of our Scubapro vessels out on the Great Barrier Reef. Whilst on the

reef you take part in your 4 training/qualifying dives, which completes your PADI Open Water Certification. After

this you are able to go on and enjoy 5 more dives as a recreational diver, one of which is a night dive guided by

your instructor. These dives on the Great Barrier Reef will be truly spectacular and memorable and the highlight

of your course. On your return to Cairns, passengers and crew get together in a local restaurant to celebrate the

conclusion of your trip.
